Music heals, it is the language of the soul.  Healing music is created with the intention and purpose of providing a source of healing for the listener.  As long as I can remember sound and music have been a source of healing for me. Healing music, I learned at a young age altered my consciousness and took me to another world – a place of soothing waves of energy and color. Healing music for me is like painting or sculpting with sound. These healing music sound poems are created out of my deep reverence for life and love for the simple miracle of being.  It is my greatest joy to offer a bit of my journey into the healing world of sound through these musical offerings – ideal for yoga, massage, acupuncture, meditation or whenever the world has become too much and you need to flow again.

Native American music has influenced me in a deep and profound way.  The Native American flute became the central instrument for me 15 years ago after spending most of my life playing keyboards and percussion.  Native American music and instruments are uniquely capable of expressing the soulful and heartfelt qualities that are so often missing in our world today.   My journey with the Native American flute led me to co-write the play Siyotanka with my friend and colleague Stephen Lott.  Siyotanka went on to win the Native American Music Award in the Native Heart category in the fall of 2009 which was a great honor for me after working with these instruments and this music for the last 15 years.  I want to thank all my many teachers and friends in the Native American music world who have been so generous, kind and supportive to me over these many years.
